Mr. Hardy made his own sauce recipes that he had perfected while he was barbequing meats as a sideline of his foundry job in Buffalo, NY now in Rochester, MN. Their sauces are still mixed the same way Mr. Hardy did over 20 years ago. John Hardy’s BBQ was looking to sell their BBQ sauce and needed an inexpensive label. By creating peel-n-stick labels, we were able to provide a low cost label for a small restaurant’s budget - 6 different flavors with 6 different intensities.
I hand drew 6 different pig Illustrations from an angel pig for the Mild to the Bad Boy Hot for those who want to walk on the wild side.
